Hello all,

   My hosting company recently moved my DNN site form a W2003 ser ver with MSSQl 2005 to a win 2008 server with MSSQL 2008 running plesk.  We eventually got the site running.

   But I am now trying to upgrade fro version 5.4.2 to 5.4.4 but when ever I try to run the SQL scripts I get the error,
System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified)

The 2008 SQL server does not have an instance installed I know that, but the whole site is working fine with out it so I am not sure if that is the problem.
