Hi,

I recently upgraded my site from DNN 4.09 to 5.4, but the problem I am facing is that my urls are still in the old format. I would like to have them in a cleaner readable state, for example;

http://www.xxxxxxxx.com/Overview/tabid/37/Default.aspx    to,

http://www.xxxxxxxx.com/Overview.aspx.

Please may someone assist as to how I can achieve this? Thank you

Search web.config for the text "add name= "DNNFriendlyUrl" type="DotNetNuke.Services.Url.FriendlyUrl.DNNFriendlyUrlProvider"

If the tag contains a urlFormat parameter set it's value to "HumanFriendly". If it doesn't contain this parameter please add it (i.e. at the end of the tag, add urlformat="HumanFriendly"). The final form will look like:

<add name="DNNFriendlyUrl" type="DotNetNuke.Services.Url.FriendlyUrl.DNNFriendlyUrlProvider, DotNetNuke.HttpModules" includePageName="true" regexMatch="[^a-zA-Z0-9 _-]" urlformat="HumanFriendly"/>

I have done so,the page links work for the normal site, but it seems I cannot access any of my admin and host pages. If I click the default Register link it puts my registration page at the bottom of my home page. There is funny behaviour. Am not sure if this was there before, but a user cannot see their profile page and is taken to the home page instead. Please help?

log in as host and go to admin->site settings, expand out advanced and make sure that the correct pages are selected for registration (none, unless using a 3rd party module) and user profile

I tried doing this but cannot see the login page and user registration page in the list. I wanted to create custom pages and adding these module onto the pages but I cannot also find the user registration module, only the Account Login Module.
