I'm getting ready to start a new project, and I'm wanting to know if this is possible with DNN.

I am developing a portal for a bank, and they have 2 locations. Tulsa and Dallas. So they will have 2 sites, tulsa.bankname.com and dallas.bankname.com. Because of differences in laws between the 2 states, there will be different content on some pages based on the subdomain, but most of the content will be the same for both sites. We are wanting to allow the users to be able to enter the information in 1 place instead of having to duplicate it on both subdomains. Please let me know if this is possible out of the box, or if I could download/buy/create a custom module or something that would handle this. Thank you in advance.

by default, separate sites will have separate content, you will need special modules to share content or use same DNN and differentiate based on subdomain. It is about the same problem as with multiple languages in DNN 5.5, but the solution is tight to system locales and cannot be modified for your use case.
