Hi All,

There is a requirement to implemet a document library kind of module in DNN application. Presently I am calling a web player in DNN which renders a report. This report needs to be saved as a document in a repository in DNN. For ex, say I have a button to save the report. On click, the report should get saved in a DNN repository in a suitable format. Please let me know if you have worked on something similar.

Thanks in advance,
Manasa.

What type of functionality are you looking for here?  Does it just save a "read only" document?  What type of information is stored on each document?  have you looked at any of the document modules that are out there?

I basically need to save the contents of a html page in a suitable format say, pdf or doc into a document repository in DNN. For example, if I have a 'Save' button in a form, then on click the contents in that page should get saved as a document and should be automatically uploaded to the document repository in DNN. Also how to determine the physical location the files are getting uploaded within the application? Thanks in advance.

Hi Mitchell,

Presently in my application I need to implement a functionality wherein I have a 'Save' button in one of my pages. On click of that, I need to save the contents of the page into a document and also this document should automatically get uploaded into the document repository that resides in another page within DNN.

Also in case of a document repository module, how to determine where the documents are getting saved? For now  I have a document repository module and I have uploaded some files there. But I am not able to find out where those documents are getting stored within the application.

Thanks for replying,
Manasa
