I am using start date and end date in Tabs to "publish" a page on a given date.  We modified our custom navigation provider to hide "unpublished" pages unless the current user is an admin or in a custom role we set up.  My only issue now is when a page hasn't reached the range between start date and end date it gives the usual "You do not have access to view this tab within the portal" error.

Anybody know of a way to make a tab viewable programatically when it's not within the start/end date range so people in my content admin role can preview/modify contents and layout of the page before it's published date?

Much appreciated...

Brian
