sorry, please describe more in detail, what you get after installation: a blank page, a menu, a home page, a login link?

i get nothing in the second portal but some image files. I get no default.aspx or anything.

No - there is no homepage on the SECOND PORTAL, just a bunch of image files. Here is the login for the Pro Trial Version (V5), you can try for yourself. http://dnn.mullinsnet.net Login : MullinsnetAdmin Password : mullinsroy@bellsouth.net Also downloaded and installed community edition, it is doing the same thing.

I get Admin and Host menu displayed (checked using chrome). Please alter the password ASAP. The second portal is not accessible (test.mullinsnet.net doesn't seem to be mapped properly in DNS)
