Hi,
I tried to avoid this post by reading almost all posts here and following the docs to the letter but it seems like I get nowhere.
DNN 454 was working good with AD and users were logging with no issue.
After the domain controller was changed to Windows server 2008 r2 no one from other machines (in the same domain, all in the extranet) could log in again. They get the credentials window but the login fails for all.
I suspected that the AD authentication module is too old so I upgraded the DNN installation to 523 and AD module is now 502
That did not help.
I followed the documentation of the ad auth. module very closely and even tried some combinations of the web.config and it did not work.
I am really in trouble here and any  idea how to continue will be highly appreciated.

Did you look through this post? Also, is the site running under the Classic .NET pipeline or the Intergrated pipeline?

Hi Mike,
Sorry for not responding earlier, this AD issue is sucking every minute of my time since it is in a production system.
Anyway, I'll look at this post again before asking more. As for the pipeline I can put it on either.

You'll want it on Classic. Integrated blows up the provider but I'm working on a fix. Need to do more testing and then talk to the DNN brass if it requires too many changes (may require changes to the actual machine.config on the server).
