Hi, we're wanting to update the AD source so that we can pull in some custom AD fields into the user profile so have downloaded the 5.0.2 source (DNN 5.3.1 PE) and it compiles ok. But when we deploy it, the AD authentication fails and on viewing the AD settings via the extentions page we get this error show instead of the AD settings:

C:\website\DesktopModules\AuthenticationServices\ActiveDirectory\Settings.ascx(15): error BC30456: 'Page' is not a member of 'ASP.desktopmodules_authenticationservices_activedirectory_settings_ascx'.

Is there something we need to do with the project so that it will work correct when deployed?

Are you deploying to a separate webserver? The BC30456 is a goofy catch-all error it seems. I've run into it a few times and, from what I remember (it's been awhile since I got it), it was because I referenced a newer dotnetnuke.dll than was on the server that I was installing on (i.e: I was coding using the DNN 5.4.4 dll and installing on a DNN 5.4.2 site.

Hi Mike, thanks for the quick response. You were spot on, we were referencing  a newer version of the dnn dll, changed it to the same version and it appears to be working correctly now.
