I was alerted to the possibility I could re-apply templates onto already existing pages via the Site Wizard tool. I tried this out a few times, and discovered some strange behaviour that I'm unsure what the actual intended behaviour is.

Say I have a site with a home.aspx page, and an HTML module on such. My template too has a home.aspx page, but also has an Announcements module on it. The template works great if I create a new portal using it, but if I apply it to that aforementioned existing website, It will add new pages introduced via the template, but will not add the Announcements module on the home page at all, no matter if I choose ignore, merge, or replace.

I'm not sure if this is intended behaviour, or if it isn't the way the site wizard was intended to be used for, or if it requires a template that includes content to do. Any insight on this issue would be much appreciated. Thanks!
