Hi,
I have an intranet site which uses the active directory authentication.  When I go into the users profile I can see that some of the profile properties are being pulled from active directory such as adress and phone number.  What I want to do is add a property called department and have that sync with AD's department field.  I have added the property but it dosne't seem to sync with AD.

The AD only syncs with certain properties and I don't have the source code handy at the moment to check the list. My guess is that Department isn't one of them. In order for it to sync you'd have to edit the code and recompile the provider.
