I would like to visit an existing site, copy some text from it and then paste it into the RAD editor in my DNN site. I can lose the HTML/CSS formatting but I need to keep paragraphs wrapped in <p> tags.

Can anyone advise as to how to do this?

Thanks,
Stuart

What you're trying to do is actually illegal in most countries, since content on websites is protected by copyright laws.  That being said, you should be able to do this as you described, and by using the Format Stripper in the text editor.

Hi Will

Thanks for your response. I should clarify that the content was being copied from the client's existing site to their new site - all above board!

I managed to achieve this in the end by setting StripFormattingOnPaste in the config file to "Css".

Thanks,
Stuart

Good to hear.  Just have to put my disclaimer in there.  Not everyone who reads this forum thread will have the greatest intentions.  :)
