Hello.

After updating to the latest version I "suffer" from a known bug (#17252) like many other users here as well, including the DotNetNuke.com website itself.
In former version it was possible to request an RSS feed for blog id 0 to get all blogs of the portal consolidated into the feed. The latest version just produces an error.

This is extremely uncomfortable if you read in lots of blogs and use feed readers to grab everything together. Since a couple of weeks even the feed here at DotNetNuke.com doesn't work anymore:

It would be nice to get a word from the blog team when they consider to fix this bug. Are there any plans for a bugfix release ?

Thanks in advance for any answer,

Tom.

Tom,

The fix for this issue was committed to the CodePlex repository a couple of days ago.
RSSID=0 will now once again give an aggregate feed of all blogs, and requesting a feed for a blogid that does not exist will return an empty feed instead of an error. I am not sure when this will be packaged and released, however, if you need this fix immediately I'd suggest you get all the bits from CodePlex and run a private build.

Cheers.

Hello Antonio,

thank you for this quick and positive reply.

I am afraid that I have to wait for a next release or beta build as I don't have a development environment up and running here.

If someone would be willing to compile a alpha/beta or what ever version I would of course be very very grateful ;-)

Regards, Tom.

Tom,
We should be able to get a new version into beta pretty soon.  I know there are a couple of other changes that the team wants to get in place first but it should not take too long to get those completed.
