I recently had a request to have User Profile birthdays (date field) displayed within the Events module.  I have not seen any way to accomplish this in the Events or any other module.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

I am not sure of the exact code to accomplish without writing it myself, but at first blush, I think you could accomplish this pretty easily one of two ways:
  • Write a DNN Scheduler job to poll all user accounts, and add an event to a specific instance of the Events module
  • Write a T-SQL script to do the same thing in SQL Server, and scheduler it there (more reliable, but possibly longer/more difficult to code)

Nice option.

Suggestion: put this as a feature request on DNNEvents issue list on Codeplex. You will find the link in my signature.
