I have DNN up and Runninb in visual studio and it works fine

I then deployed it to my host at a subdomain and created a new entry under Portals where i put the subdomain as alias

when i enter  the page :

http://www.c.kwa.dk

i am transferred to ; http://www.c.kwa.dk/Install/UnderCons...

what am i missing ??? maybe some setting somewhere 

I am a totally new yo DNN so i hope you can help me out

Did you also migrate the database to your production SQL server and change the connection strings (2) in web.config?

Have you given the ASP.Net worker process account (Network Service, etc. depending on the IIS version) full permissions on the website root folder and all child folders?

Currently I am using the same sql server for both the local and the production enviroment . I am not currently in posession of a sql server , so i use the one included with my web hotel

any suggestions ???

shouldent it be possible to run 2 sites my localhost, and the production site on the same sql server - i know you might think it is not a good idea - but it is inly a small test site i am using to get to know DNN

It is possible to install DNN into multible instances on different virtual directorys.  i.e.:

localhost/dnn495
localhost/dnn550
