this sounds strange, ow did you duplicate the resources, did you open in language editor for target language and save unchanged? besides, did you make sure to be in "System" mode?

Alberto, I have not seen this error as I only use en-US language. But I thought I would post that a recent update to DNN-13936 in Gemini indicates the original problem has been verified. I wish I knew if your new problem is related, but I honestly do not know. Rob

Sebastian,
yes exactly: I clicked to edit en-GB in "system" mode, checked "I was wondering... when I pubish some resource files for custom modules, I think DNN recompiles the module (dynamic modules)... maybe I got the failure because it was in the need of a restart, to acquire new resources?

Wonder two: even after saving, I still see resources highlighted as they were still to be translated... but resource files are created on filesystem. Am I doing something wrong?

Rob,
I don't know if my problem is related with this... I'll test the same actions on the staging server asap.
Thank you,
al.

DNN does not compile the module, resource strings are read directly from the resource files. However, as they reside inside the code folders, the jit compiler will recompile the web site. Highlight does compare original text with the translation/modification. if you don't edit the text, it will still be highlighted.
