Hi.
I'm developing a custom login module. As a test, I created a login.ascx exactly like the file that already exists in DNN (DesktopModules/AuthenticationServices), I copied and pasted, so there are equal.
I configured the site so that it uses my custom module, but when I try to login, it's like if its doing nothing: no error, and no login.

I think the problem is with the OnUserAuthenticated event, because the code executes succesfully, but this event seems to do nothing. ¿What could I need to do?

Anyway, I will explain why I'm trying to do a custom login module, maybe there are better ways to do it: when a user try to login in the site, I need to know to which company he belongs, I have these companies in another table, and the user can belong to many one or companies. If the user belongs to many companies, he must select the company which we wants to log in.

Thanks!

I have just finished upgrading a login module for a United Nations project it uses a CAS – Central Authentication Service.  I was completely new to this but just reviewing the DotNetNuke source code for OpenId gave me some pointers. I would suggest looking at this source code and take it from there.

Good Luck

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I tried to look the source code, but there is only .ascx and dll's files. I downloaded it from codeplex (with code) but the same, only ascx and dlls. Where or how can i get the server code?

Thanks!
