I have tried and tried and cannot get the install to complete for SQL Server.  Are there manual scripts I can run to create the DB?  Thanks.

Which MS Sql version are you trying to install? Or are you referring to creating a DNN database on an existing MS Sql server? My experience is that both the Expess and full versions install cleanly with very limit user input.

are you running sql 2005 or higher (sql 2005 has been a minumum prerequisite since 5.2.0). Please note, DotNetNuke requires an empty database to be created, it will not automatically create one, it only creates objects/schema/data within an existing database.

... and make sure you create an account to use with dbowner permission granted for your database!
