I'd like to use the default membership provider for superuser and other DNN-only tasks, and my own external membershipprovider for our 120.000 users. Is it possible to use two providers? I currently created one provider that instantiates an AspNetMembershipProvider and my own MyOwnMembershipProvider, and this mixed mode provider forwards each request depending on the request (i.e., admin requests go to the default provider, others for the frontend shop go to our provider).

Is is possible to use multiple providers? I have some issues and am unsure whether they are related to me wrongly implementing my provider, or because what I'm trying to do (mixing providers) doesn't work (i.e., because some singletons are used by the abstract provider class?) . My mixed mode provider and my own provider both inherit from DNN's abstract MembershipProvider.
