Thanks for your replies. So now, when I try to upgrade my problematic Dnn 5.4.4 to 5.5 I get the odd error "an error has occured" Is there any workaround on that? Thanks!

please use upgrade package (not to overwrite web.config file) and check out eventlog table in the database for an associated entry.

Hello Sebastian, I tried to upgrade using the 'upgrade package' without the web.config and got the following entry in the event log: 6ce672b6-df41-49ec-86e3-9ca3e2bcd1a8 APPLICATION_START 1 NULL NULL NULL NULL 2010-08-27 06:30:08.020 FILMAKIA NULL 1204 Any ideas?

And also this is the error message on the website:

there seems to be an issue with a 3rd party component, which requires a different version of Telerik. I suggest contacting the module developer for an upgrade.
