Is there a way to set all my default entry points to a location within the forum.
Sor instance the default path to the forum is http://test.test.com/Forum/tabid/256/...
What I am wanting to do is to start one level deep where the topics are already defined by a moderator.
For instance: http://test.test.com/Forum/tabid/256/...
I wish I could define this as the home location for all references back to the forum "home" and to have users to be directed to the threads themselves.
Any advice or help would be appreciated.
thanks,
jc

There is a module setting on the settings page for 'default' forum. You can also create a forum page, then create links in the navigation menu directly to a specific forum. In any of these solutions, the actual 'home' button in the module will still point to the same spot and the only way to change it would be to change the source of the module.

Changing the home link works well but the entry point is still causing me a little grief.
I checked the default forum and there is not a check box to select the option which is likily because there is only one forum.
Any thoughts on a way to do a quick redirect. Obviously I cannot put in on the header or it would keep redirecting itself.
I tried using redirects via IIS but the DNN pretty much grabs everything before IIS can hit it.
I am open to suggestions if anyone has one.

I found a solution.. Silly once I walked away from it for a bit.
On the forum containter I simply added this script.

<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.4.2.m...">//</script>

                <script language="javascript" type="text/javascript">

                                //Shorthand to determine if page is loaded

                                 // to store it in a variable

                                var loc = window.location;

                                                // text for a given URL

                                                if(loc == "http://test.test.com/Forum/tabid/256/...")

                                                {

                                                                                window.location = "http://test.test.com/Forum/tabid/256/...";

                                                }

                   </script>
