Need some help here...  I have tried to upgrade to version DNN 5.04.04 and get compilation errors on running the install script.

I already have .net 3.5 installed on our Windows 2003 server but the error message I get seems to indicate that DNN is still trying to use version 2.0 of .net.

How do I alter things to get it to use .net 3.5 instead?

BTW I have looked in the ASP.NET properties of the DNN entry under websites and it only gives me the choice of 1.1 or 2.0 version not 3.5.

Any help will be appreciated as I don't wish to restore the old DNN if I can help it.

Regards,

Chris.

We'll need to see the exact error message to be able to help.

Which version of DNN are you upgrading from?

It's okay that only 2.0 shows up when looking at the App Pool, .NET 3.5 is build on the 2.0 version of the CLR (i.e. there is not a separate 3.5 setting in IIS).

Hope I can help,
