I'm moving a flash-based site into DNN, and have run into one wrinkle I could use help with.  I've been directed to the FnL module as a potential means to implementing the following.  I'd greatly appreciate any advice that can be offered towards an approach.

The site offers a vertical list of courses to the left of a given page.  When a visitor clicks on a list item, a detailed course description shows in a pane next to the list.  If it were a table, it would be a column of links (one per cell) with the adjacent column essentially expanded to consume most of the real estate to display the detailed description of the corresponding link selection.  Having read through the manual, the ability to treat each class as a record in the DB is great - but I'm stuck with how to approach the layout, presumably through the XSLT editor.  Again, any direction towards an implementation solution would be incredible!

Thanks in advance!

I am not sure whther I understand your request.
You can certainly not use the template generator for this. I would start to write the layout in pure html first, then to add the XSLT. I would download my data as XML and develop everything in VS2010, which is also a great IDE for writing XSLT  stylesheets.
