Hi!

When I click on Login link, I see the following error:
"Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

I added a sub portal to my portal and logout. But now I can't login.

Is there any help about it? I really need it.

try to restart application (e.g. by editing and saving web.config file) if you have access to the database, get the details of the error from table eventlog.

Cheers from Germany,

I changed the web.config file but nothing happened. I found the following error in EventLog table:

Can’t you login to the new sub portal or the old one?
Can’t you login as a Host or Admin?
Here is a far shot.
Seems like one of the modules in the page is having trouble.
Did you install a new module recently?
R U trying to login from the same page all the time?
ry opening another page, preferably a page that has minimum modules in it. For example I would try going directly to one of the admin pages (You need to know the direct address to it, since it is 4.8.4 I can't give you this) which are most likely unchanged and no new modules installed on them.
