Hi All,

I work on a college campus and have been setting up many departments with their own DNN Portals. During training, a number of people's computers froze up. The only way to fix it was a hard reboot. The computers are running Windows 7 and the latest version of IE. My IT guy says there were no unsual errors on the server log so it must be somthing specific to those computers. Does anyone know how I can fix this issue? Is it a browser setting?

Was it a repeatable issue? I can't say I've experienced any issues with the many Windows7 machines I have running and DNN sites.

I had the same issue with Windows 7 and it turned out to be a problem with the anti virus software.
I installed MS security Essentials and it was gone.
(Removed the other AV)

thanks for the replies. about four or five people froze up mutiple times during the training session. The virus software issue could be the problem. I'll look into that. Thanks, -s
