I am installing Dotnetnuke for the first time on a web server at my hosting ISP. It seems if the installation is looking at the local machine and not the web/domain on the hosting server.

How do I point the instalation to the domain?
Here is the error

On your error message I can see that your permissions not set well.  The application pool user didn't have full access to your physical pfolders and files.  I suggest to read the Install documentation you can found on Support / Documentation.

Make sure you have execute permissions for scripts and executable files and the application pool user have full access to the physical files and folders.  Make sure you have well setup the 2 SQL Server strings and you have set well the databaseOwner on Web.config file, if you don't user install wizard.

Note:
After failed DNN installation you have to delete the database and recreate it !
