I want to upgrade from a 5.X version to 6.2. I downloaded the upgrade package but noticed there wasn't a web.config in the upgrade package. Shouldn't there be one that contains new settings?

Upgrades on the web.config file will be done over the manifest file.  So the upgrade packe don't need a web.config file.  This minimized our support tasks.

If you want to be sure that modifications are added on the web.config file you could use the install package, but be sure you have a backup of your database and files and backup the web.config file to modified and transfer both connection strings, databaseOwner, objectQualifier and the Maschine Key!

I don't believe I'm asking, but I seem to not be able to bring the website down with the app_offline.htm file upgrading 6.2 to 6.2.2 due to a build error!

Any suggestions on a work around?

Thanks,

Mike
