Is it possible to make a Back-button for a DNN website?
I've tried to figure out myself how to do this but I think it's rather difficult.
Or is there an obvious module for it?

I want a button that takes you to a page one level higher of the menu.
So if you're on a direct subpage of the main page, and you click on the Back-button, you go back to the main page. If you're on a direct subpage of a subpage, you click on the Back-button and you go to the subpage one level higher.
Off course I can make a button on each page that links to the previous page, but that would be way to much work.
So I'm wondering if there's an easier solution for this, for instance a well-known module.

Grandi,

You can use the breadcrumb skin object to achieve this type of functionality, although it won't be a back button as such.

From what you've described is there not a slight chance that a back button would be confusing? as it's always been associated with the browsers history, taking the user back one step through their path in the website, as opposed to the heirarchy of the web pages.

This obviously depends on the design you're working with because a back button might make sense, but I think the breadcrumb will give you the functionality you're looking for.

Regards,

Rick.

Like Rick said. Making a back button that doesn't go back but goes up one level would be confusing. Besides, you already have a back button in your browser. Might suggest you use an "Up" button or something along those lines.
