I have a skin that has 2 PNG graphic files.  I use (skin) CSS specs to set the height and width of these for presentation.  When I add a Forum module to the page, one of the PNG files displays in it's original (larger) size.  When I remove the Forum module, everything renders correctly again.  What is happening in the Forum module to screw up rendering of the skin?  My CSS class name is "skinheaderc3" - can't image that the module also uses that class name.

never say never - however, I suggest using a Developer toolbar (e.g. by pressing F12 in IE8) to identify the CSS which gets applied.

I am not a developer.  I want to know what is going on in the Forum module - i.e. if there's anything that can be done to overcome this problem, and when a corrected Forum module will be available.

Try changing your classname.  See if it goes away.

Brian, there is one downside with a highly modular architecture like DNN: you can't always prevent two extensions to interfere. The system may provide techniques or guidelines, e.g. naming conventions like starting with a (hopefully) unique company prefix, but there is no guarantee and it is the task of the integrator (in this case, the admin, i.e. you) to prevent this to happen. Sorry.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold
