hey all,

I want to have a copy of the DNN website I work at my PC at work into my laptop..

so I took a copy of the website from my PC and paste it into C:\Inetpub\wwwroot      ISS folder at my laptop machine,
then i chenged the inistials to connect to DB on the laptop, that DB is beckup from the PC and retored into the laptop SQL Server DB...

and when I run the project the IE gave a msg: IE can't display the webpage....

what is the best practice to have copy of my DNN  website from my PC at work into another machine (my laptop) ???????

Thanks for the URLs bro,

Actually  get useful of "Restoring or Moving a DNN Installation (From backup files) " link...

it  works for the with IIS 5 but I have IIS 7 and the scenario is slighty diffirent, I tried out to configure it but could't reach the way to add my backup DNN project in IIS 7
any help regarding that...
