Hi Guys,

I have used localization feature of DNN 5.5 whcih created new set of pages for every language (I have pt-BR and es-ES  + en-UK, where en-UK is a default site language). I have placed Wiki module on three different language versions of the page. I translated the static Wiki text in Languages/Edit site/Local resources/Desktopmodules/Wiki folder to Portuguese, but when I navigate to pt-BR version of the page, the static text of the Wiki remains in english.. (Home, Search, etc ...).
The only static text that gets pulled out of pt-BR resources is the day name + date month in header section of the page..

Any help on how to get my translated static Wiki text to appear is welcome. :)

Thank you

Joz

By intention, default behaviour of the language skin object changed in DotNetNuke 5.5.0, unfortunately other than expected by all of the users, therefore it will be switched back in one of the next versions. Meanwhile, you may use Advanced Control Panel, you may download for free from www.oliverhine.com, which fixes this behaviour. Get more information here.

Thank you Sebastian. Will check the Oliver Hine solution, apart from language temporary fix it seems to have a few more nice features I'd like to have a look at. :)

Thank you Cathal for the info. Looking forward to upgrade to a new version.

Cheers Guys!

Joz
