I;ve found another problem: The admin link does not work anymore. I can reach it by requesting the right Page, but the link is not working. Can you please tell me if this a configuration problem (upgrade was from 5.2.3 -> 5.6.0)

I haven't noticed it on a new site created with DNN 5.6.0, but haven't tried an upgrade yet. Are you using default Skin? You might test using default.css from DNN 5.5.1

I am not using the default skin, can that be the place where the problem could be? Is there anything changed on this point from 5.3.2 to 5.6.0? What should i check?

there has been no change in skinning, but default.css has been repaced, therefore you may test using default.css from website/portals/_default folder of a previous DNN version.
