Hi,

Below is another example of the formatting problem:

</span></p>

I have other people complaining about this problem which appears to be really hard to solve... and even impossible for a contributor profile.
Here again I suspect a bad closing tag to be the origin of the problem.

Can you please give me a feedback about this ? I would be encouraged if it was considered as an important bug because like this example, it was a very simple article. Then my contributors begin to complain and want me to go back to Fck Editor whereas I know that this new editor has a veryvery  high potential, but this problem is very problematic also....

I hope you understand my problem. If I can give you a hand to identify the source of the problem, just tell me... but I think I am not  the only one to be confronted to this.

Thanks a lot again for your time,

Nicolas

Sorry, I can't really reproduce your issue. To be honest, I don't even understand what problem you migh have. What do you mean by "extra lines"? Is the HTML altered in any way or do you simply see more space below your text? Do you have a sample site where I can see the issue?

Cheers,

Hi Philipp,

Sorry if I am not very clear... To better understand my problem:
  • add a HTML module
  • copy the code I have included in my previous post in the HTML tab
  • Do a preview, or save it
Normally you should see blank lines appearing in the content. I am encoutering this problem when I play with the "New Paragraph" functionnality or the "Bulleted List".

First to progress on this problem, can you reproduce that ?

Thanks a lot !!

Nicolas

I could reproduce this now, but this does not have something to do with the provider, but rather with the editor itself. Appearently the edior does some woodoo when parsing your html while switching back and forward between preview and design.

I've got two suggestions for you:

1. Ask at the Telerik forums what they say about your issue
2. Do not use that many formatting options. Those nested spans p's and linebreaks do not lool nice and tidy. Better make use of predefined styles from the paragraph droopdown and make everything via css. Much cleaner.

Cheers,
