Here is yet another post about deleting the login module. I created a login page and redirected the login link to this page and then through sheer stupidity deleted the login module. Now I can't login. I tried the John Mitchelles OpenSesame.aspx trick but it didn't work. On further investigation I see that in the latest version of DNN the LoginTabId is now (correct me if I'm wrong) found in vw_Portals.  Well SQL is not my strong point but I attempted to update the database setting LoginTabId to Null but I get this error: ERROR: Cannot update the view or function "database.dbo.vw_Portals" because it contains aggregates or a DISTINCT clause. Upon further research I see that I need to change "something" to not contain aggregates or a DISTINCT clause but I have no idea what or how to do that.

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

the column is in PortalLocalization I believe now, not in Portals as it used to be. So you'll want to update the column in that table.
