I have installed the DNN Forum Module for our shipping department to use internally.  They use one login to open posts in one location, and then in order for a different person to close that request they use the same login and just record their name in the post when closing.  Not really what the system was intended for, but it has been working.

Today after 348 posts an error is occuring, but only for this one login.  It states:  "An Error Has Occurred.  Error: Add/Edit Post is currently unavailable"
Event Viewer Message: "StackTrace:
Message: DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Modules.Forum.PostEdit.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---"

Why would this occur only for one login?  Could there be an invalid post (data issue) somewhere?  Is it just a DNN bug?  I have read similar posts that state there is a Forum bug?

I am running a free version 04.09.03 on a Windows Server 2003 web app host, Windows Server 2003 SQL Host and SQL Server 2005

Andy, I would recommend upgrading to one of the newer versions of DNN 5.5.1, and the 4.6 release of the Forum module located at http://dnnforum.codeplex.com it fixes a large number of issues I had with the forum module.
