Can someone please help !? I´ve tried this many times and i´ve checked where is that file but i cannot find it in any place, looked even on my other DNN instalations and nothing... :(
- the CORE SHEDULER  TIMED OUT error is still there...
- when you change the SKIN DOCTYPE in the host settings to other than HTML it is not saved at "update", just after a second RESTART of the DNN app...
Sorry, i had no too much time to check in every corner, but afterall this is a completely new installation and the DNN... :(

Also i would like to know what is the best security/encryption setting for the web.config ? DNN it comes always with SHA1/3DES, but i would like to know the performance differences, like AES with 3DES, or AES with DES, or SHA1/DES... and so on. I know that DES is three times more fast than 3DES but is also three times more weak, meaning that if someone needs more performance can use DES, but it is really notable!?
I was thinking to use AES with DES... is it ok!?

Thank you.

Ensure that ASP.NET is not configured to validate the file path on all requests. LinkClick.aspx is a httphandler that is added by the web.config.

Make sure that the Application Pool User have full access to the DNN folder and all files and folders in it.  And the User for the integrated mode have read access too.

Checked...
There is only one "primary" user for the account and database with full access to the APP Pool.  Where exactly i must look cause in my CP everything is ok/unchanged !?

This does not happen if i install the previous 5.5.0... is there another "major" change/update to this DNN that we should know about !?
Sometimes i fell that DNN is going to wrong directions... I wonder, when it will be that day when we do not have to "fix" something to the DNN without breaking something esle...
