Hi all,

   I had a DNN site running on my PC that worked 100%, I then tried to replace it with my live site, and its DB.  I changed the

  1. Alias to localhost.
  2. I disabled the DNNMasters URL redirector in favour of the standard DNN friendly URL rewriter. 
  3. I also changed all the connection strings and added the relevant user to the DB.

   But now when I go to http://localhost, I get a blank page, if I look at the source of the page displayed it is also blank, baring the header and body tag’s.  So I tried to install the upgrade package 5.5.0 to 5.5.1 to see if that might fix the problem.

   When I reloaded the site, it did pick up that it needed to run an upgrade and forwarded me to the upgrade page, which also displayed blank and the source code again displayed empty.

   Has anyone else experienced this issues and how did you solve it or, can someone give me some advice on this.

did you make sure, you are using same version of .Net framework and default.aspx is configured as default.aspx? Besides, please validate full file system permissions have been granted to the windows account being used by the ASP.Net worker process (configured in app pool settings).
