Hi,

Very ugly problem. I see DNN site is also slow and sometimes posting throws errors! We waited for 5.5.1 as a stable release on 5.5.0? We have an ecommerce site currently down and not selling anything!!! We can hard revert back to version 5.4.x in which we did some coremodifications to circumvent some issues. We have transactions in our system we cannot move backwards. We urgently require a fix.

For your reference: we did test everything in dev. Then we tested all in acceptance before moving to production. Except of exceptions below we also received an exeption without only -1 and 'Unhandled Exception' only. The second exception we did report in Gemini since release 5.2.x already.

We have own custom modules, a dedicated server (seeming to be asleep with very little performance requests), but all on ASP 4.0 NET integrated application pool?

Help is appreciated.

B.

there seems to be a problem accessing (some) resource files and a timeout problem. do they always occur together?

Hi,

I saw the scheduler has some new features like module cache etc. with intervals of 1 minute. I increased the time of all schedulers to 1 day or at least 2 minutes. Also I disable the functionality which throws the resource exception. However, the site is still slow, but does not seem to hang after a couple of clicks.

What are the default for caching (seems this has been changed, are those settings to be updated or so?)

This is the weird error we get:

Hi,
Does anybody have experience in getting back from DNN 5.5.1 to DNN 5.4.1 ? I mean in particular the sql scripts since we have sales orders in our database.

Sorry, but you cannot revert to a previous version, this is not supported and very risky.
