I am stuck at the "Run Database Installation Scripts" screen. The progress bar keeps going and the textbox shows a million and one of the same line "undefined......Success".

I used the upgrade package. Unzipped it over an existing DNN 5.05 installation and ran the installation wizard. I am running DNN on Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-bit).

Anyone getting a similar error?

most likely there are missing file system permissions to read upgrade scripts or write log files by the windows account, used by ASP.Net as configured in IIS app pool.

You may need to reset the permissions on your DNN folder, if you have access to the file system. Otherwise you might need assistance from your host.

Here is a screenshot of what I got when I attempted the upgrade:

I tried it again using a different method, the automatic upgrade, and it went through without a glitch:

So I don't think it's a permission issue since it did go through fine in the second method.

the first screen should not have shown up at all, you need to use the install package and do NOT touch web.config file!
