Just installed version 5.0.2 of the feedback module and it does not seem to be behaving properly.  The form fields look ok in "edit" mode, but "view" mode they strink and are unreadable.  This was part of the 5.5.1 core release.

Do you have a special skin installed? I've used the feedback module without issue in my testing so far.

It is a custom skin so that must be the problem.  I changed to the default skin and it looks better.  What do I need to change in my custom skin to make it look better because all the parts of the feedback module when dropped on a page look different since the upgrade.  It just doesn't seem to be behaving the same way other modules do.

The main Feedback module uses a table-less design with its visual rendering controled by both the width and field label positioning in the Form and Fields section of module settings AND a custom CSS style-sheet module.css located in the DesktopModules\Feedback folder. Because it is a table-less design, it is a bit more dependent on the skin and container into which it is placed and may not render well in older, non-conforming browsers. I suspect that you will need to make some adjustments to the css classes affecting field width and margins/padding in module.css.

The Feedback comments module is fully templatable in its module settings so that you can use your preferred html markup and add style or class attributes as needed to make the comments render as you would like.

I would have to see its actual rendering on the page to offer specific suggestions. Usually the best way to adjust your skin or the module's css rules is to look at the rendered page with either Internet Explorer's Developer tools or FireFox's Firebug and start making some adjustments. Once you have found what css selectors and definitions work best you can then modify the Feedback module.css file or your skin files.

Ok.  I fixed the comments module by just adding the class attribute to the tags.  Easy enough.  I'm still messing with the .css file and the form width setting of the module.  It seems that when I specify 100% for the width it does not work.  If I put just 400 there it looks better.  Thanks for your help.
