Hi I'm trying to create a package of my module, when I start with the option "Create package" there is a checkbox that says "Include Source", what does that checkbox mean?

I ask that because I'm on the way of creating an install package of my module whitout source code (only DLL's)

Thanks a lot

If you only want DLLs, don't check the include source option. That will package your module including all the source code.

Hi Chris, tanks for your reply. I tried what you answered, I left the "Include Source" CheckBox blank, but it still appear .vb files in the .zip package. Do you think is a kind of bug In DotNetNuke? who can I ask about that? Thanks

Did you create the module as an individual project in Visual Studio, or do you have a DNN website open in VS as well as your modules. If the latter, you won't be able to package without source because your module isn't compiled into a DLL.

I use the WAP model of development, web application projects, each module gets it's own project, outside of the DNN project file. Check out the Wiki entries for getting started with that approach, along with a project template

The Wiki entries are based on a blog series I did earlier this summer.
