I then tried to send using Synchronous and it informed me there was a problem on the top of the page. I attempted to send again and it worked.
Any Help?
Thanks

there shouldn't be an issue rendering URL control - besides missing file system permissions or other processes interfering - but this is not an issue of the newsletter module itself.

Are you suggesting that there may be a problem with file rights on the server? Any idea as to where should I be looking to resolve this?

Your Application pool user must have full permissions to all files and folders on your server.  IIS must have execute permissions for scripts and executable files.  Your Annonymous user must have read permissions only.  On IIS 7.x there are 2 users for the annonymous user access, one by classic and one by integrated mode, so make sure you use the correct user.
