After submitting feedback, the following text is displayed:

Your feedback has been sent to the site owner. Thank you!

Is there a way that this text could be configured as the feedback may not be going back to the site owner.

Cheers

The Feedback module (v 5.00.02) makes use of the standard core methods for localization of static text. This phrase may be changed (for an entire portal) by navigating to Admin-->Languages then . . .

    For DNN 5.5.x:

    1. Click on the Edit pencil in the column "Static Resources Site" for your prefered culture (only en-US installed by default)
    2. Expand the the following nodes of the Resources tree: Local Resources, DesktopModules, Feedback, App_Local Resources
    3. Click on Feedback.ascx and locate the resource named "MessageSent.Text"
    4. Change the text in the text area to the right (Localized Value) or click on the edit pencil at the right to use the standard DNN rich text editor for more extensive changes.
    5. Click on "Save Resource File"
    For Earlier Versions-DNN 5.02.03 - 5.04.04
    1. Select desired locale from the drop-down list of Available Locales
    2. Expand the following nodes of the Resources tree: Local Resources, DesktopModules, Feedback, App_LocalResources
    3. Click on Feedback.ascx and locate the resource named MessageSent.Text
    4. Change the text in the lefthand text area (Localized Value) or click on the Edit pencil to use the standard DNN rich text editor for more extensive changes.
    5. Click on "Save Resource File"

As you can see, other static text can easily be changed as well.

Thanks William, I had found that and was actually just testing it when I saw your response. One thing I did notice is that when I turned on the Captcha, the text around that is black and does not get changed with the container. For example, I had it in a container with a dark brown background. The other text had changed to a lighter colour, thanks to css, however the black text around the Captcha did not change. Is there a way to fix that? Cheers

If you are referring to the default text "Security Code", that should follow whatever color and background is defined in your skin css for the SubHead class although the module also applies the css class Feedback_CaptchaLabel (defined in DesktopModules\Feedback\module.css) to its containing div. On the otherhand, the default text "Enter the code shown above into the box below" is rendered as part of the core Captcha control which does not apply a css rule to it's containing element directly. It should, however, follow what ever color and background is defined in your skin css for the Normal class. If that doesn't take care of it, you might have to add an additional css definition to module.css to target that element more specifically. A css selector of  ".Feedback_CaptchaControl div div" should work.

I cheated and used a different container that the black text would show up nicely (I'm not much of an HTML guy) I will tuck this info away though, thanks Bill.
