I can't figure out why my tracking is not working. on Google Analytics it says the status is "Tracking Installed", but it displays the clock which means it is waiting for data(it's been 11 days).
Is this generated code correct?
the code is weird like a wrapper one script inside the other:

(Note I replaced the <> tags with ^)

^script type="text/javascript"^

                var gaJsHost = (("https:" == document.location.protocol) ? "https://ssl." : "http://www.");
                document.write(unescape("%3Cscript src='" + gaJsHost + "google-analytics.com/ga.js' type='text/javascript'%3E%3C/script%3E"));
                ^/script^

                ^script type="text/javascript"^
                var pageTracker = _gat._getTracker("UA-18565528-1");
                pageTracker._trackPageview(

^script type="text/javascript"^

  var _gaq = _gaq || [];
  _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-18565528-1']);
  _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']);

  (function() {
    var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true;
    ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://ssl' : 'http://www') + '.google-analytics.com/ga.js';
    var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s);
  })();

^/script^);

John:

No, it is actually two separate script blocks. You should have one script block with its script open and close tags and then another set (trying to explain in writing in case my sample code does not look good after posting, but the code below is working for me just fine.) By the way, I placed the code below just after the /dnn:form tag in Default.aspx

Carlos

01.<script type="text/javascript"
02.    var gaJsHost = (("https:" == document.location.protocol) ? "https://ssl." : "http://www.");
03.    document.write(unescape("%3Cscript src='" + gaJsHost + "google-analytics.com/ga.js' type='text/javascript'%3E%3C/script%3E"));
04.</script>
05.<script type="text/javascript"
06.    var pageTracker = _gat._getTracker("UA-111111111-1");
07.    pageTracker._initData();
08.    pageTracker._trackPageview();
09.</script>

Thank you Carlos,
So are you saying it is correct? Or  are you saying I should change the placement?
Or maybe you have any idea why it is not working?
John
