JDCboss,

In IIS check your application pool identity. The user that runs your application pool should have modify permissions on the whole installation directory. I have a blog on this topic here (http://blog.nddllc.com/2010/03/04/iis-7-5-apppool-identities/) if you think it would help.

Chris,

Thanks for the tip. Couple questions.
  1. The application pool that is in use for this DNN Instance (as with all the others with no issues) is 'NetworkService' - I do not have anything in my list for 'AplicationPoolIdentity'... how would I get that in that list you detail in your blog post.
  2. The other portals in this instance work fine... it is only one of the portals that does this? If the application pool identity was set incorrectly - wouldn't is affect all of the portals within that DNN instance?

What version of IIS are you using? Do you have complete access to the server or are you hosted somewhere? If your other portals are tied to the same DNN instance I may be incorrect. Feel free to contact me at cismitty AT gmail DOT com to discuss details if you feel we can't resolve it here.

Chris,

I am on MS Windows Server 6.0 (MS Server 2008) running IIS 7.0.6000.16386. I have access to the server... and yes, the other portals that work are ties to the same instance, which is what is really confussing me.

Let me know your final throughts and if needed I will contact you via email. Thanks for the help.
