Hi,
I found recently that some portals take 5/8 sec. more than others to process the page, with hight use of cpu,(the fast onces take about 2 sec. to process the page).

All my portals are on a unique dnn 5.04.04 instance and apparently there are no significantly differences between the fast ones and slow ones.

I tried to change skin, remove all module, Menu and so on, but nothing is changed.
Same problem on my local machine with same portals.
I tried also to debug the entire process, using the dnn source , but I have not idea on where I can find the problem.

Some one can point me on the right direction?
Please Help me!

Regards
Fausto

did you switch caching to heavy and turn on gZip compression in Host Settings? Did you streamline your database, truncating db transaction log and clearing eventlog, schedulehistory and search tables?

I found the problem.
The WriteCSSStyles method of SolpartMenu.vb is repetitively called and cause the time delay on page process.
Now I must find the cause.

Sorry for the false alarm.
