Hi all, couple questions about the process of user registration after I recently upgraded to 5.5.1 (On a GoDaddy shared hosting account)

#1 - After a user registers, I'd like the site to return them back to the page they were at, but when I change the setting in the "user settings" page to "empty" then the user gets redirected back to my home page after they register. (It works with LOGIN. I set this as "empty" and whenever someone logs in they are redirected back to whatever page they were viewing before). I heard this was a bug with version 5 but hoped it would be fixed by now?

#2 - If a user registers and doesn't have a valid email address they get a message that simply says "user registration unavailable." Is there any way to change this message so that they get an error message that actually makes sense and prompts them to go back and re-register or fix their email address?
