Hello.

I have a working DNN installation with Net2 runtime. I need to switch to Net4 from my control panel (DNP). For me it is a click but what will happen to the DNN website ? Will the changes to web.config be done ? Do i need to manually change something ?

Thanks

It seems that the only difference is this

<httpRuntime useFullyQualifiedRedirectUrl="true" maxRequestLength="8192" requestLengthDiskThreshold="8192" requestValidationMode="2.0" />

so i guess removing the validationmode will do the trick for Net4 ?

thanks

You could do it  and dnn should do the change in the webconfig. But there is a bug. I got it in one case.

DO a backup first:)

I installed a DNN test site with NET4 and compared the web.configs. The ONLY difference i see is the Validation mode 2.0, not the rest you say above.
