The issue was closed earlier this year, but I reckon it was not properly addressed.

I've added a specific comment on how it currently affects me with a limitation/bug on top of the initial performance concern.

Jean-Sylvain, as far a I know any community member logged into gemini can reopen an issue to challenge whether an item is correctly completed -try hovering over and clicking the status to see if it allows you to change it.

Thanks for the hint Cathal, but that does not seem to be the case anymore. I can click Edit when logged in, but the status drop down keeps disabled in the editing form.
Hovering and clicking does not seem to alter the status neither.

I've checked gemini and the "authenticated users" group does have the permission to move a "closed" issue to "re-opened", so it must be a bug in this version (I know that people were able to do it before). I've reopened the issue on your behalf.
