Hello..

We'd like to integrate our DNN external site and our internal intranet site as a child portal (currently hosted on internal development server).

Our external site is using the DNN default_authentication for website updates, as is our current Internal site.

Is it possible to integrate AD Provider into the internal site so it'll require users to log into the site using their network credentials?  If they're not logged in, they don't see the internal workings of the site, etc..

Is there a way to configure this so when visiting the site from internally, it auto-logs them in using their NTLM credentals.

Thanks.. -Jeff

Hi Jeff

Sorry for not replying earlier. Yes, you can setup the sites as you'd like but I'd like to get some clarification on a couple of things.....

Are you intending to merge the external site and the internal site into a single site or are you wanting to try to do a redirect from the external site to the internal portal if they're a staff user?

If it's a merge of the sites then it's fairly easy (I run our school's website this way). If you're looking to do a re-direct....well, I'm not so sure. :)

Take a look at the user guide for the AD provider (http://dnn.gmss.org/ADProviderBetas.aspx) and if you have any questions let me know.
