Two of four websites are suffering the same issue!

"An error has occurred.
Error: User Registration is currently unavailable"

When a user tries to register this message is returned. The user is added to the site but no email gets sent. I've checked all the smtp settings I can find and all are identical on all four sites. So I'm having trouble undersatanding why two sites are working and two aren't!!

All sites are on DNN 5.5.1

Any help appreciated.

Can you check the EVENT LOG with your HOST account and see if you get a detailed error message? Perhaps your SMTP isn't configured to allow relaying of the email addresses that are setup for those two accounts?

Yes the event logs show and error "...Mailbox name not allowed. The server response was: From address not verified..." however this makes no sense to me as all four sites have exactly the same settings under host >> host settings >> SMTP Server settings. And if I send a test from there it works, on all sites.
Am I supposed to be looking somewhere esle? if so, where?

Sorted.
I don't ever remember seeing any documentation that stated 'All user registration emails will be sent using the admin email address...'! Silly me assumed the emails would be sent using the host email address as set up under host settings.
